About

Kathleen is a Portland based artist, originally from central Maine.

Kathleen started her graphic design education at the Skowhegan Regional Vocational Center, where she completed a two-year program called Digital Graphic Arts.

Then she attended the University of Southern Maine where she received a bachelors of arts in studio art with a concentration in digital art and a minor in information & communications technology.

During her time at USM, Kathleen worked as the Production Editor at the campus newspaper, the Free Press where she won two Columbia Gold Circle Awards for page one and photo layout design for tabloid color newspapers.

Kathleen also completed a summer graphics internship at the well known, Portland Monthly Magazine where her photographs were published in the feature story for the September 2008 art annual issue.

In Spring 2009, Kathleen’s photograph, of Weston Dam, in Skowhegan, was chosen for the 8th annual Maine Public Broadcasting Network Juried Art Auction.
